Getting to and from Kingscliff

The 9th Symposium on Frequency Standards and Metrology will be held at—

 

Mantra on Salt Beach Kingscliff is perfectly located in the Tweed River Valley on New South Wales' north coast. Centrally located within Salt Village, Mantra on Salt Beach has a superb waterfront position and is situated on the doorstep of many popular Queensland and New South Wales must-see destinations, including Gold Coast theme parks and beautiful Byron Bay, all just a 30-minute drive away. The resort has a lagoon-style pool and tennis courts.

From Gold Coast Airport:

Driving—20 minutes
Uber—20 minutes; AUD $42–$45
Bus—Line 760 & Line 602; 53 minutes; AUD$7–$9

We have hired a 12 and 8-seater car. We will be transferring delegates on the 14-15th of October from the Rydges Gold Coast Airport hotel a 3 minute walk from the arrival hall.

Return to Gold Coast and Brisbane Airports:

We have hired a bus to leave after lunch on the 20th of October between 2pm and 2:15 pm. It will stop at both Gold Coast Airport and Varsity Lakes train station. We will also provide some transfers in our 12 and 8-seater at some various times.

Take the Airtrain from Brisbane Airport to the last stop Varsity Lakes.

We will transferring delegates on the 14-15th of October. Contact the organisers on your expected time of arrival at Varsity Lakes.
